its a post exams blog 1..

Last Exams in NUS began with a..
phone call..haha

actually not one but a few..
first time i morning call teddy to wake her to exams..bcoz she stays further than me i dont normally wake up to call her..but i did..
first time i get a call in the morning from sweet..it really made my day..

i woke up to a sumptous lunch by my mom..rice, bak gut teh and snow fish..(thanks alot..i din go hungry in the LT)
den took a ride to sch to meet teddy..

Today's paper was GEK2020 Introduction to Film Art..

yesh..as i earlier blogged..i S/U-ed it n i regretted..
tt regret deepened..i spotted 3 topic.. Wong Kar Wai's In the Mood for Love, Orses Welles' Citizen Kane and Eric Khoo's 12 Storeys.

n guess wad...
ALL 3 came out in one way or another..

First excerpt was from ITMFL..the most satisfying essay i've written in a LONG while..
2nd excerpt was from Citizen Kane..as expected with a ladies' sixth sense of me n teddy..but wasnt as satisfying essay bcoz it was onli the ending scene..
Last question was about how different narratives in a film brings abt the ideas n theme of the film, eg 12 storeys has 4 stories, how there r parallel, contrasting or juxtaposed.

this could had been an A-graded paper..
hiakx..its so fated that i dont get As in NUS..
i missed an A bcoz of S/U in SSA2207 Government and Politics of Singapore and now another one bcoz of S/U again..i could have 3 As instead of juz 1..wad am i doing?

den again..its all bcoz i lack confidence in essay papers..but actually..i do pretty well for my essays papers..lit..policitical science..SHIT..i think i'm in the wrong faculty..
i should have gone to Arts..do a combined major in Maths and Political Science and a minor in English Literature..
Right..tt doesnt sound like Cynthia..blahx

another gd start to exams as this...

NUS actually fixed another wooden plank to the LT tables so tt we got more table space for exams..how sweet of them ..
but i wonder..where they store all these planks n how much work was done to label them n fix them on one by one..poor souls.. i guess Science Club taught me the logistics part of every thing tt one does.. =)

wad the hell is this toopuid blanglah doing..
its raining so freaking heavily tt the place is flooded..n he's still using the spray to wash the floor! wasting my mom's money to pay to HDB for cleaning the place..n wasting water lahx! felt like going up to him n ask him if he know wad's he doing sia.. TOOPUID ehx..

i love today..i dunno y..but i feel happy..like really happy..haha
a gd exam complete = happier cynthia
