its a holiday!

yeah..i'm finally back after a week..
exams ended on the 2nd..after some packing of my lil sista's books tt strained my back..n some re-organising of my mom's storeroom..den off to BANGKOK!!
day 1: 7th December 06
took mrt to airport..realised tt there is no sky train connecting to budget terminal..we have to take a shuttle bus..carrying the luggage up n down..OMG totally not what a first class terminal wld be like.. den ppl rushing fer every single thing..OMG..when the gate was open..those aunties were RUNNING to the gate *faints* to get my mom a gd seat..i ran with them..n queue where the aunties were heading but was told to take another queue..which i orderly walk thru..but those aunties went under the rails n cut my queue @#@$%^&%@..den my mom was making alot of noise abt y some were let in first..after a long while den they said tt there was advance for family with young children n adults..when tt means 8 adults to 1 baby..tsk tsk..arrived at bkk intl airport..no sign no nuttin..so super crowded..finally got to the taxi stand..dont understand y there was 2 queues..everything is in thai..omg..how to be attract tourist there like tt?!?! den finally got a cab..n tt driver dun understand english n dunno where we wanna go?!?! ok..finally he knows where n we r stuck in a massive jam..which is juz the traffic light..but the hotel was pretty gd, comfy n well located..den off to MBK fer dinner n shopping..nuttin much tt i fancied..but dinner was ex when we hit the fifth ave international food court with live band..den mad shopping by my mom with cheap cheap bags n shoes..199baht onli..i wanted to go to tokyu where teddy bear asked me to enjoy myself..but it was closed... @#@%$(& i thot the night was still young n wanted to head to suan lum..but my mom said it was late at 9pm..arghx..den off to the taxi stand..n tt idiot driver dun wan to put on the meter but we bargain fer 80baht back to the hotel..
day2: 8th december
my mom made us get out of bed at 6:30am bkk time! like omg..like on tour..like c'mom so early..but nevertheless we got up fer buffet breakfast quite like singapore style..i was the tour guide of the whole trip..planned fer river trip down chao praya river to the Grand Palace n Wat Pho..den shopping at platimun..the river tourist boat was at 9:30am on first boat..but with my KS mom..we got onto the BTS (read:singapore MRT)..reached the pier at 8:30am but i decied to cut cost n take the river taxi tt cost onli 15 baht..down to the Grand Palace..a kind thai lad told us tt Wat Pho was closed fer onli Thai fer prayers for the King's bday till abt noon n so is the Grand Palace..he told us of the Lucky Buddha temple and another temple n a Gem production place by the government..which was allowing each tourist to get a piece of gem in line with promotion thai tourism..his classic line "tut-tut waiting waiting for you" lolx..for live demo call me yar! den he help us stop a tut tut n fer 100baht, we got a half a day trip..when we hit lucky buddha temple, we met another thai guy tt could speak thai tt gave us a econs lesson abt thailand..n he told us of the gem production house tOo...when we hit the gem production house..being gals..my mom my sis n myself bought gems..pendents n earring..cheap cheap..haha classic "madam..get sth gd" lol..bought some for my grandma n auntie tOo..den the teochew guy tt said tt their company will provide us with a free aircon van n a english speaking tour guide..great! no more squeezing on the lil tut-tut..den the guide aka coffee bought us to wat pho n grand palace..he was super nice..we asked him lots of qns..n he told us alot abt the place n thai history..v v v v interesing..its gd tt he's been to singapore n is an alumni of standford uni..he brought us to watergate open mkt after advising me against platimum bcoz its aircon n more ex..but the place he gave us was super hot n messy..dont know my orientation there..nuttin much there fer me to buy..onli my mom n sis..i onli got a pair of kitty heels..sigh..den he said he'll bring us to suan lam!! yeahie..n to the beer garden fer dinner..dinner was better with the live band as well..but still with the spicy spices..but shopping was great...lol..got my rattan bag..n got alot of baragain my omm n sis got quite a bit..den back to the hotel..great day for my knowledge abt thailand..really an eye opener..super lucky day with coffee's appearance..
day3: 9th decemeber
CHATUCHAT!!!!my frenx n bro asked me to take a cab there..but afraid of the jam n non-metered taxi..my mom n i decided tt we shld take the train again..one thing abt bkk is tt their ticket has their map printed on the tix..which is veri tourist friendly..we reached there at abt 9am..n did non stop shopping! woohoo..BUT..i din see alot tt i like..onli got a few tees fer myself..fer my bro..a skirt n a shorts for myself.. shorts for miko..my sis bought sooo sooo amny things..i din even bother to buy stuff to bring back fer my frenz..as thinking..everyone ard me have been to bkk except me..no point buying anithing..hiakx..but we drank a lemon juice n eat kuay teow there..which my bro said was veri brave..haha bcoz of the hyigene..but well..nuttin happened to me..along the way my mom was nagging n complaining abt the heat n nuttin much to her fancy..den quite irritated me..but my sis was quite persistent on getting her stuff..so after she was done..BUT I WAS NOT was cut short the trip n headed back to the hotel..we stop along the way for a thai massage which was not gd..din feel shoik at all..hiakx..den head back to the hotel to dump the stuff n went to pantip it mall to get the thai kayboard sticker fer my brother..den to platimun fer some shopping..again..my mom n sis bought stuff..but juz was i was going to give up on bkk..i saw a nice dress fer teddy's bday..but it was ex..when i really sianx..den i saw bag charms!!! i love them la..but i was broke..but i paid fer the transport most of the time..onli bought 1..its soo soo cheap lehx..100baht bcoz we bought 5..i wanted to buy more to sell online..bcoz i almost bidded fer sth identical fer S$23! omg..but no lo..nx time i go i'll buy tt..haha..aniway we left to go to central world plaza to look fer my brother's levis, but it was too ex..n we headed back..i wanted to shop more de..but the shops were closed..oh yar..dinner was at platimum food court..sooo nice the kuay chap..n the thai dessert..mango sticky rice..yum yum..
day 4: 10th december
my mom said she was tired..say if i wanna shop i go myself..den i told her we r heading back to MBK fer her fave 199 stuff..she was like..ok ok faster go fer breakfast..den we went there..lol..again the place was closed bcoz we were early..the guard there said tt there is another gem produciton house nearby..we went there lo..since its nearby..den the gems there were so much more ex la! but my mom bought some souvnirs..but i think ppl at my age wun wan elephant keychains liaox rite..so i din buy lo..again my sista bought things la..when we hit MBK i told myself to get a 60L backpack else we wun have enuff luagge fer my mom n sista's shopping..got a backpack at 800 baht..think its quite ex la..but nvm lo..i was happy its within my budget n i can go fer my graduation trip liaox..haha..den my mom finally bought her stuff n is happy..but my dad cld nt find a wallet..can he tt he's disappointed..nvm..i decided to get my dad a wallet fer x'mas..i know wad style he like liaox..i going to get it at all cost bcoz i din get him anithing fer his bday this yr..n my mom din care abt my dad's shoppping list.. >.< rushed fer duck rice lunch n off back to the hotel..the plane was 16:55 but coffee asked us to leave by 1pm..bcoz of tt my dad din get to find his wallet..n we were waiting fer the airport fer more than an hour..@!#@^ .. den again..the bkk airport has a disorganised system tt's inefficient n not idiot-proof..but being on tiger airways again..the board part of another disgrace of singaporeans..the KS-ism..hiakx..finally got back to singapore..finally got to spend money...bought liqour n wine at DFS n perfume fer siang tOo..finally got home..BUT! tmr got sports camp..*faint
day1 of sports camp:11th december
manage to get myself out of bed..n to school by cab..haha..reached sch n find tt my OG is quite small..but ok quite on..den my buddy OG was late..but they r nice ppl..except fer one..lol..shall nt give names la..but think everyone know whu..went to east coast to "check-in" our tents..i ust say its been a long time since my tents, mess-tin days..we did rafting..n paint war..den it started raining super duper heavy..din really get drenched..but was damn cold..so i went to the tent wanting to get my tee..BUT my tent had collapsed! omg..they brought it into the shelter..but when i opened it..all the bags were swimming in the tent..*faint..once a girl guide, always a girl guide..luckily i used the backpack..n ziplock everything n put on the raincoat for my backpack..everyone else's stuff were wet..onli mine..haha..we were evacuated back to sch n slpt in tutorial room..nuttin much to do..so my OG chatted..n found out tt almost all of us there were connected like friendster..i found the boy's pri sch fren, n my fren's gf there..omg omg..the world is shrinking..haha..den a fren staying near my place gave me a lift back fer bathe, change of clothes n get a new slippers bcoz my old one broke..n back to sch..stayed up quite late to see PA8 team off..there backpacks to cambodia fer the trip was at least 10 times worst than mine..i cant carry them lo..but xiaojun was v nice n ask me to slp n not follow them to the airport..i really KO..
day2:
left fer wind suring at east coast..wooohooo..so fun..but i cant turn 180 deg bcoz the 2nd sail tt i used was super heavy..almost went into open sea..but the surfing club guy swam to me n "drove" me back..hehe.*blissed* i got "driven" ard bcoz i was nt veri gd..haha...but bcoz i was damn tired liaox..everyone onli played 1 hr i play 2 bcoz there was extra sail..lalalala..but i got a bad sunburn on my shoulder..got also got a nice tan on my arms..haha..i like my new colour!,,den we headed to Ang Mo Kio ITE fer high rope elements..hiakx..the elements nt veri high nt veri got kick lehx..i went across the beam balance in record time without holding the rope tt everyone below clapped..haha..n the challenge pole is NOTHING compared to jln bahtera..hiakx..really miss the gd old days..den before we cld finish..it rained..hiakx..spent some time at the student recre area..played bridge with my OG ppl..had some fun..n back on bus to NUS..den we waited fer our bags..n cld nt bathe..n my bag was misplaced..like whu wld dare to lose my bag..got quite pissed abt the disorganised..but wad can i do..the director..my "xiao mei" is so messy de..so when i got my bag back i headed home..got abit pissed n alot tired..i really wanted to go back to have fun with my OG..bcoz they r hell of fun ppl..but the moment i bathe n lay down to rest..i slpt..n by the time i woke up.. 11am the next day..they break camp liaox..
today..after i woke up..supposed to have KAP gathering..but luckily it was canceled..i slpt again..n reply to tons of emails..got pissed also..but nvm la..be in club is like tt de..got hidden sword..gd training fer teaching life..but its gd to be back home..but tmr got spring cleaning liaox..hiakx..n sat sun got OCC n teddy's bday..friday got meeting fer aircon eatery at S16..omg..this isnt a holiday at all la! cant wait to grad n go fer grad trip n let time stop there..

wah..this is a long entry.. bt think shant elaborate ani more..haha...

its a thankiew and get-a-life post

oh man..today din start well..i woke up at 12 after being not able to sleep ani much longer..i've decided to plan some x'mas stuff fer my family so i turn on my laptop..
